Your Tiscali account settings are out of date - Fix Account
I cannot sync an email account on my Windows Live with the new Windows 10 Mail, the email is tiscali and when I click 'Fix Account' on Windows 10 Mail it lists my email address in one field and then requires a password in the other field, what password is this? I have changed my password in the settings in Windows Live for that email account and then gone into Windows 10 Mail and then typed in that same password as used in Windows Live but it won't take the password.

They simply refuse to respond in writing. Time and again I asked for this. Queue a convoluted complaint process. Again again again. Is this the worlds most useless company?
And what makes it worse is that they are not at all concerned about all the poor reviews they are receiving. Words fail me with this bunch of incompetent uncaring clowns. I have lost access to my "lineone. Several unhelpful phonecalls to their helpline in India later, we are going round in circles - I no longer have any details of the account from 30 years ago, not sure I ever had any anyway and they can't find the account details even though they can see my email address.
So they can't run security checks - and so I can't get my emails.

I started trying to get Tiscali in October It is now mid March and it's still not set up. All they give me is excuses about why it needs to be installed. I wasted 7 months and have nothing to show for it. They are the most unhelpful bunch of people I have ever delt with and as soon as i can change provider I will.

Some years ago a lodger took out her own Tiscali broadband service on my phone line and, because she had copies of the landline bill, was somehow able to set up an account that included a recurring charge to my phone bill. I was expected to call Tiscali on an number to contest this which I refused to do and, after several months of mostly ignored emails tried Oftel. Oftel also said they couldn't help - it was between me and Tiscali. The cure eventually turned out to be to somehow track down an obscure technical department in BT and persuade someone to do a low-level kludge. Finally the debits stopped, but it was the most unbelievable waste of time and hair-tearing exasperation to get there.

When I joined tiscali it was a really good service provider and reasonable cost. Then Talk Talk took it over.
I have never experienced such bad service, such poor customer care scripts, such appalling English though great when you consider they are from Calcutta, Bangalore, new Delhi and the Philippines and so little listening. If they spent as much time sorting out the problem as sending deceitful messages to say that your service is working, when it isn't, they might get the issues dealt with.
